We strongly encourage to do your own research and ensure you point out any concerns you may have with regards to safety and best practice to keeping safe and well from the risks presented by Covid 19.

Below is a great source for home moving advice from the government

In line with government guidance, anyone experiencing coronavirus symptoms should be staying at home, to help prevent further spread of the disease. If any parties involved including member of either households is showing symptoms of coronavirus or is self-isolating, then a physical viewing must be delayed.

To support this, (For lettings specifically) Wellbank will endeavour to request a property passport prior to any physical viewing taking place, this is to establish the full suitability of the tenant for the property.  This will help reduce the number of properties people need to visit before finding their future home.

Viewings must be conducted by appointment only and will last no longer than 15 minutes

Existing tenants showing the property to prospective tenants should also follow these guidelines.

Existing tenants- please keep all doors open.

All viewings should take place by appointment only and only involve members of a single household.

Please keep all the internal doors open prior to the viewing.

Use hand sanitiser or wash your hands regularly and thoroughly. Avoid touching your face.

Avoid touching surfaces

You must keep 2 metres apart whilst viewings are taking place in order to minimise your contact with those not in your household.

When viewing a property, all parties must wash their hands both prior and after the viewing so we would suggest that you have hand sanitizer available.  You need to avoid touching surfaces where possible.

Wellbank will not supply to use of any personal protective equipment to you such as gloves or masks, but have no objection to you wearing these.

Wellbank will ask you to restrict the number of people (maximum of 2 in total plus the agent) who accompany you on a viewing so that social distancing can be practised, and only those in your immediate household should be there.

Wellbank will continue to accompany clients on a viewing but follow social distancing rules at all times.   Where viewings are unaccompanied, we will of course make sure viewers and homeowners understand how they should conduct themselves and ask you to to whatever you deem necessary to keep safe.

If the property is vacant Wellbank will open up the property, open all doors and windows, wipe down handles before and after the viewing and remain outside whilst the viewing takes place.

Once the viewing has taken place, the homeowner should ensure surfaces, such as door handles, are cleaned with standard household cleaning products.

If at any point some doors are closed please inform us or the viewing clerk or the existing person who is present and request they open the door for you.

Some questions you should consider before the viewing

Has anyone in your household had COVID-19?

Has anyone in your household displayed COVID-19 symptoms or not yet completed a required period of household self-isolation?

Are you in the high-risk category?

If any of those apply we recommend you delay the viewing and inform us straight away.01706218835
